Card kits off to Florida!

I was delighted to get a call from a customer of Paper Studio to do some designing for a card making day she and some friends do every year!  We talked about what I could do (I needed to keep them simple) and here is what I came up with.  I made five samples and she was to pick three of them.  Would you like to see them?

Sample One:  I used We R Memory Keepers "Anthologie" papers, May Arts Ribbon and Stampin' Up Stamps and Punch.

Sample Two:  Stampin' Up card stock and Stamps, Cosmo Cricket "Delovely" DP, Fiskars Punch, and Stickles.

Sample Three:  PB Stamp "...wishes", Stampin' Up card stock, DP is from Karen Foster Designs (one of my absolute favorite papers, because of all the great colors in it!)

Sample Four:  HA Stamps, Stampin' Up cardstock and ribbon, Authentique "Essentials" DP

Sample Five:  MFT "Inspired by...Spring" Stamps, BG DP, May Arts Burlap Fiber, Spellbinders dies.

I had a lot of fun doing these cards for this group!

Which ones do you think she picked?  She wanted seven card kits of three designs....she went with (drum roll, please.......)

all five designs, five of each.

They are now in a warmer place than here!  I know she will have a great time and I am glad I got to share in it.

My own piece of Paper Studio, Inc.

Hello all!

Time has gone by so fast!  I still find it hard to believe we closed the doors at Paper Studio in October....it seems so long ago and I miss it very much.

I sometimes drive by to see if anything new has occupied the spot, but not yet.  :(

So I thought I would share my hide-away!

This is where I go to get my nostalgia going.....and my creativity!

This is my "Mini Paper Studio"....a small room off the front entry that I made my studio.
The furniture was used at P.S.
Recognize the curtains?  They were in the back classroom area of the Studio....lots of fun happened in that room!  Oh and the flower pot!  Soooo glad Micaela gifted one to each of the employees!  What do you think of my Copic Marker storage???

Joanna gave me her "Olde Curiosity Shoppe" sample!  I found a use for a bunch of binder rings...another one of Joanna's great ideas...I put ribbon on them and slid them onto a cheap curtain rod.  I also put stamps, spellbinder dies and miscellaneous other things on it.  I had it hanging on a wall, but it works better like it is shown.

Here is the corner...unseen from the door.  These few things I picked up elsewhere, but filled them with P.S. goodness.  Reminds me of our prep/storage area at work.

I miss Micaela, Joanna, Misty and all our regular ladies!  I hope all are well and being creative.....

until I blog again,

~~Deanna~~
